To promote the economic development of our community, the NAACP hosts monthly gatherings at Black and minority-owned restaurants. This social hour is a great opportunity for members to connect outside of meetings and for newcomers to meet us and learn more about our branch. We invite everyone to enjoy great food and to continue to support the businesses that we highlight after the event is over. These small actions help build community and mitigate the harmful effects of gentrification.
For October's Social Hour, join us on Saturday October 29th at 6pm to enjoy Brazilian cuisine with African and Portuguese influence at Tempero do Brasil in the University District of Seattle.
Address: 5628 University Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105. Phone: (206) 523-6229.
